Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actor from Manama, Bahrain and was born into a multi-ethnic household. Jacqueline's parents are Malaysian as well as Sri Lankan. Her father Elroy Fernandez is from Sri Lanka. Jacqueline is the youngest of two sisters and a brother who is older. Her parents have moved to Bahrain in 1980s due to the Lankan civil unrest and hence she was raised in Bahrain. After winning Miss Sri Lanka title in 2006, she stepped into the world of television. She was the host of a show about Sri Lanka's business, known as Lanka Business Report. Padukone's father was a badminton player Prakash Padukone. Padukone has been born in Copenhagen and Bangalore. As a teenager she played in badminton championships at national and international levels. She later quit the sport in order to make a profession as fashion designer. Padukone comes from Mangalore and her mother language is Konkani. Padukone is a village located in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi in Karnataka State, India, is where her family comes from. Prakash Padukone has retired as an international badminton player Her mother, on the other hand, is also a travel consultant.
